Service Policies
Payments:
- Maids of McKinney LLC only accepts credit / debit card as form of payment. Credit card information is taken at the time of booking. This is to hold your requested time and allows us to schedule a team for your booking.
- Your card is NOT CHARGED at this time. A hold will be placed on your card two days before the service in the amount of your total balance, to ensure funds are available for the service.
- THIS IS A HOLD AND NOT A CHARGE. We will charge your card after completion of the service, which a receipt will follow via email from Maids of McKinney LLC. If your service is cancelled for any reason, the hold will be released within 2-5 business days.
Cancellation Policy:
- Maids of McKinney LLC reserves a booking time and team for each customer, which takes away from other customers and the cleaners schedule.
- You have 24 hours before your scheduled booking to cancel, to avoid a late cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made after this time will be charged $65.
Safety Policies:
- Reaching High Areas – We cannot guarantee to reach areas higher than six feet.
- Moving Large Appliances – Due to liability reasons, we will not be able to move large appliances. We’re more than happy to clean around and/or underneath larger appliances in your home but will not be able to move them.
- Interior Window Cleaning – Window’s should be accessible via 2-3 step ladder. Due to liability & safety reasons, our teams are not able to climb on ladders or reach high areas.
- Screen Cleaning – We request that the customer remove any screens you may want cleaned, for our cleaners. Due to liability reasons, we will not detach or reattach any screens in your home.
- Clients must remove all items from the refrigerator and cabinets before cleaning to ensure housekeeper safety and prevent breakage or misplacement, for which we are not liable. After cleaning, clients are responsible for returning items to their proper places.
Breaking / Damaging:
- We complete a walk through after each cleaning. Claims should be made during the walk through.
- If a walk through wasn’t completed, due to the customer not being home at the time of cleaning, any damage or breakage claims MUST be notified within two business days via phone or email. We will then assess the customer’s claims.
- Any claims made after two business days will not be considered by Maids of McKinney LLC of being liable.
- Maids of McKinney LLC will not be held liable for faulty, improper installation or general wear and tear of items in the home.
Access and Efficiency:
Decluttering key areas such as workspaces, counter-tops, dining tables, bedrooms, and bathrooms are the responsibility of the homeowner. This is considered “organization”, which is a separate service that we do not provide. By decluttering the areas you expect to be cleaned, this allows our team to clean thoroughly without delays. For example, removing personal items from floors or surfaces ensures we can reach every corner of your home.
Before & After Pictures:
- Our cleaning technicians will take before and after pictures.
- These pictures are used for proof of performance, claims against broken items as well as promotion.
- If you do not want pictures taken of work areas in your home, please notify us when you schedule your cleaning.
